About CISF Assistant Commandant LDCE Exam
The journey of Central Industrial Security Forces started in the year 1969 to provide integrated security to all the PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) with the help of three battalions. But, now in present year the CISF has grown manifold and has turned into a huge Force of 1,39,400 personnel. They are now entrusted with the security of all crucial infrastructures like airports, space establishments, nuclear installations, power plants, seaports, heritage monuments and various other important government buildings. The CISF is also responsible for the security of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, Natural Disaster, VIP Security, etc.
Eligibility Criteria for CISF AC LDCE 2017
The minimum qualification that is required for this exam is that of 10 +2 and Bachelor degree from any recognized University or Institution.
Age limit – The candidate must be below 35 years of age to be eligible for the exam. In case of reserved category some relaxation in the age limit is provided.
Physical Ability is a must for the candidates and they need to fulfill the following criteria –

Syllabus of CISF AC LDCE 2017
Under the heading of General Ability and Intelligence THERE IS General Mental Ability, General Science, Current affairs (both National and International) and General Awareness. Professional skill will also be put to test. Questions from the field of Law, Industrial security, Disaster management, Perimeter Security, VIP Security, Bomb Disposal, Computer Skills and Service rules along with HR matters will also be there. Essay, Comprehension and Precis Writing is also there.
Exam Pattern of CISF AC LDCE 2017
The exam will consist of two papers. Paper I will include –
• Intelligence and General Ability (75 Marks)
• Professional skills (75 marks)
The candidates will get 2.30 hours to complete this paper and each question in this paper will be of 2 marks.
Paper II will include –
• Précis Writing
100 marks is allotted for this paper and the candidates have to complete the paper within 2 hours time.
Admit Card of CISF AC LDCE 2017
The admit card will also be made available online by the last week of February, 2017. In order to download the e-admit card, the candidates need to provide the details like registration number or date of birth or name. Then, they can click on the link of UPSC AC LDCE admit card link and download it from there.
Results of CISF AC LDCE 2017
Once the result is out, the candidates will be informed about the date of interview for the Personality test. Medical test will also be conducted to certify that the candidate is fully fit to appoint.
Important Dates of CISF AC LDCE 2017

• Notification and Application Form Date – By October 2015, the notification will be circulated
• Last date of Online Application – The link will be active for a month’s time, so till the end of February the candidates will be able to apply for the position
• UPSC AC LDCE exam e-admit card will be available to download from first week of March 2017.
• Examination Date – Tentatively, the exam will be conducted in the second week of March 2017.
• CGS/GE exam results are published in the 1st week of May 2017.
