TS ECET Cutoff Marks 2018
TS ECET is Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test. It is a common entrance exam for admission into the Engineering degree in the various colleges of the Telangana state. TS ECET is conducted by the Jawaharlal Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education. This year the TS ECET was successfully conducted on 12th May 2018. A huge number of candidates appeared in the exam with the aim of getting into the Engineering course in the college of their choice. Eligibility for appearing in TS ECET
To appear for the TS ECET exam, candidate is required to hold either a diploma in Engineering (in any field) or must have a B.SC degree in Mathematics.

Owing to the large number of candidates appearing for the TS ECET every year, JNT University, Hyderabad sets the cutoff marks based on the number of factors in different parameters. The cutoff marks for the TS ECET depends on the feature like total number of candidates appeared for the examination, then the total number of seats available in Colleges, level of difficulty paper etc. The cutoff mark also varies on category wise. For the candidates for Open category seat on the day of Counselling is called in the ratio of 1:10 whereas the candidates of the Reservation category seat are called in the ratio is 1:5. The rough estimation of rank based on the marks obtained in the TS ECET 2018.
