Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test is abbreviated as Karnataka PGCET. Karnataka PGCET is the post graduate entrance examination which is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Government of Karnataka. Candidates who are willing to get their post-graduation degree in MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, MArch courses are supposed to give Karnataka PGCET entrance examination.

About Karnataka PGCET
Karnataka PGCET is for post graduate course. Candidates need to fill the application form and can apply for the entrance examination. This is university entrance examination where anyone can apply for the entrance examination and can get admission in MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, MArch courses.

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka PGCET 2017
To get eligible in Karnataka PGCET entrance examination and study in State of Karnataka candidates are required to meet the following eligibility criteria:
• Candidates need to complete their BSc, BBA, BCA, BE, BTech, BArch or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates)
• Candidate must have studied in Karnataka for a minimum of seven years from Class I to the qualifying exam.
• Candidate’s age should be more than 20 years can apply for the entrance examination.

Application Process in Karnataka PGCET 2017
Candidates who are interested to give Karnataka PGCET needs to fill the application form and pay the registration fees. Candidate need to follow the mentioned below steps:
• The online application starts from July 2017
• Candidates need to fill the application form by mentioning the personal details
• General category candidates need to pay Rs. 650/- and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates of Karnataka as application fees
• The last date to fill the application form will be by last week of July 2017

Registration Fees of Karnataka PGCET 2017
The registration fees for Karnataka PGCET where general category candidates need to pay Rs. 650/- and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates of Karnataka as application fees. Candidate can pay this application through Cash Payment at any branch of State Bank of Mysore or at any E-Payment Post Offices.

Age Limit for Karnataka PGCET 2017
Candidate’s age should be more than 20 years to apply for Karnataka PGCET.

Exam Pattern for Karnataka PGCET 2017
Karnataka PGCET will be conducted in August 2017. The syllabus and exam pattern are mentioned below:
• There are 100 multiple choice questions
• Questions will be related to English language and Comprehension, Current Affairs, General Knowledge and Legal Awareness and Aptitude.
• Exam duration will be of 120 minutes.

Admit Card for Karnataka PGCET 2017
The hall ticket of the candidate will be available on the official site of KEA. After the announcement of admit card the candidate able to download the card by filling up the application number. Candidate can download and take the print out of their hall ticket. The admit card will be available on August 2017.
Note: Admit card will not be send by post, candidates are supposed to download the admit card from the official site only.

Results of Karnataka PGCET 2017
Every year the entrance examination is conducted where the results are declared by August 2017.

Counselling Process of Karnataka PGCET 2017
Shortlisted candidates are supposed to login in to the official site and check their counselling dates. Selected candidates have to carry their original mark-sheets and certificates at the time of counselling and if they fail to carry their original certificates and mark-sheets their admission will be cancelled. Downloaded mark-sheets and certificates are not allowed. The counselling process would start tentatively by September 2017.
