Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test is abbreviated as JKCET. JKCET is the under graduate entrance examination which is conducted by JKBOPEE (J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations). Candidates who are willing to get their graduation degree in dental, engineering, medical and agriculture courses are supposed to give JKCET entrance examination.

About Jammu and Kashmir CET
Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test is for graduate course. Candidates need to fill the application form and can apply for the entrance examination. This is university entrance examination where anyone can apply for the entrance examination and can get admission in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, Sc. Physiotherapy, Tech, Diploma Dental Hygiene course.

Eligibility Criteria for JKCET 2017
To get eligible in Jammu and Kashmir CET and study in State of Jammu and Kashmir candidates are required to meet the following eligibility criteria:
• Candidates need to complete their 12thor equivalent exam from a recognized board securing 50% marks (for general category) and 40% marks (for reserved category).
• The candidates should be belonged to Jammu and Kashmir.
• The candidates need to complete their 12th or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for admission to Bachelor of Engineering Courses.
• Candidates need to complete their 10+2 examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, for admission to MBBS, BDS, Physiotherapy, BAMS/ BUMS etc.
• Candidate’s age should be more than 17 years can apply for the entrance examination.

Application Process in JKCET 2017
Candidates who are interested to give JKCET needs to fill the application form and pay the registration fees. Candidate need to follow the mentioned below steps:-
• The online application starts from February 2017
• Candidates need to fill the application form by mentioning the personal details
• Candidates need to pay Rs. 1000/- as application fees
• Candidates can pay the application fees through online or offline.
• The last date to fill the application form will be by March 2017

Registration Fees of JKCET 2017
The registration fees for JKCET where candidates need to pay Rs. 1000/- as application fees. Candidate can pay this application fee through online or offline.

Age Limit for JKCET 2017
Candidate’s age should be more than 17 years to apply for Jammu and Kashmir CET.

Exam Pattern for JKCET 2017
JKCET will be conducted in 21st and 22nd May 2017. The syllabus and exam pattern are mentioned below:
• There are 120 multiple choice questions
• Questions will be related to 12th standard.
• Each question carries 1 mark and 0.20 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Admit Card for JKCET 2017
The admit card of the candidate will be available on the official site of JKBOPEE. After the announcement of admit card the candidate able to download the card by filling up the application number. Candidate can download and take the print out of their admit card. The hall ticket will be available on April or May 2017.
Note: Admit card will not be send by post, candidates are supposed to download the hall ticket from the official site only.

Results of JKCET 2017
Every year the entrance examination is conducted where the results are declared by July 2017.

Counselling Process of JKCET 2017
Shortlisted candidates are supposed to login in to the official site and check their counselling dates. Selected candidates have to carry their original mark-sheets and certificates at the time of counselling and if they fail to carry their original certificates and mark-sheets their admission will be cancelled. Downloaded mark-sheets and certificates are not allowed. The counselling process would start tentatively by July 2017.
